WHY YOU’LL LOVE US
With new leadership, new revenue streams, new business model flexibility and Franchise Owners with restaurants that generate up to $6 million in revenue*, there’s never been a better team to join the Famous Dave’s brand.
Here’s a few more reasons why our Franchise Owners love owning a Famous Dave’s BBQ franchise:
With a bolstered executive and support team, new flexibility in our business models and additional revenue streams like third-party delivery, we are proud to say our average gross revenue is $2.5 million!
Our new model rollouts give Famous Dave’s the ability to work in either a QSR or full service format. We also have the option of adding on a ghost or cloud kitchen. This scalable footprint also offers Franchise Owners unparalleled flexibility to tailor their BBQ franchise model in a way that fits their markets.
FAMOUS BRAND STORY
Famous Dave’s was one of the few and first BBQ franchise opportunities to scale nationally, founded by the passionate Pit Master extraordinaire Famous Dave Anderson. Our story, heritage and passion is something that started with Dave, and continues to be spread throughout the country by our Franchise Owners and loyal fans- something that new Franchise Owners can capitalize on from Day One!
Our Franchise Owners all share one belief – that the Famous Dave’s BBQ is second-to-none. Providing their community with a superior product and experience is something that brings great pride and joy to our Owners.

TIME TO CAPITALIZE ON THE BBQ INDUSTRY
An industry analysis by Statista shows that during 2017-18, the barbeque sector experienced more rapidly declining sales and traffic than other food segments. Despite these industry headwinds, Famous Dave’s is uniquely positioned to grow. In fact, we believe this is a positive. As other barbeque franchise opportunities without the brand power, history, support infrastructure, financial backing and best-in-class product reduce their footprint, it will open up the landscape for Famous Dave’s Franchise Owners to capitalize on the diminished competition.
Indeed, Famous Dave’s corporate-owned system has posted three consecutive quarters of same store sales comp growth, thanks to menu innovation, increased To Go and catering sales and the launch of third-party delivery with DoorDash, UberEats, Grubhub and others. Famous Dave’s BBQ travels extremely well compared to other cuisines. This provides plenty of opportunity for continued off-premise growth in available markets across the United States
Our Franchise Owners love the flexibility of our BBQ business model, from full-service dining to catering and third-party. In 2020, we are added a QSR model, which offers smaller footprints to lower initial investments, occupancy costs and ongoing overhead. In 2021, we have the new option of adding on a ghost kitchen. Find out more about our QSR model in this video:
MULTIPLE REVENUE STREAMS
As consumer dining preferences evolve, so too does Famous Dave’s. In addition to our dine-in and take-out revenue streams, our Franchise Owners enjoy an industry-leading catering program, and with our recent focus on utilizing technology to drive higher revenues, benefit from an exciting new third party-delivery program.
We have programs in place to help our Franchise Owners successfully integrate third-party delivery services into their businesses.
Several of our Franchise Owners offer catering programs to help bring that Famous Dave’s deliciousness to special events in your community.
